We are currently hiring for a skilled Industrial Painter. This position is open because the individual doing the role will be retiring.
The person in this position will complete industrial painting on all of the brand new machines the company manufactures. This is NOT a powder coat job, It requires individuals who have experience with conventional wet painting experience on large parts possibly even using a pressure pot. Individuals will have to tape off, prime and paint a variety of components and parts. They will also be pressure washing, pressure air drying parts, mixing paint, using mil gage to check thickness of paint, test viscosity, 2 part epoxy paint, all colors are food grade (FDA Approved), etc. Candidate will also be trained in on how to manage hazardous materials and pressure washing of components.
They will also be spraying an enamel metallic (with small aluminum flakes inside the metallic). Candidates will be working in all positions (crouching, standing, on a ladder, kneeling, etc)
Will be painting with Devibliss Paint Gun. Client provides all tools and PPE.
-Prime, gray primer, blue, white, epoxy white
– Must have 2-3 years of industrial painting experience (would be open to looking at folks who have an auto painting background)
– Must have conventional paint experience
– Must be experienced with wet paint and viscosity testing
– Must be able to prep, tape off and prime components
